Cycling brilliance
A huge congratulations to Aoife S, Sam M, Charlie D and Bryony M, who recently competed in Round 3 of the British Cycling National MTB Cross-Country Race Series in the North East.
Racing for local club Dartmoor Velo, our students delivered an outstanding set of results:
🥇 Bryony M — Year 7
Won both the U14 short race on Saturday and the full-course race on Sunday.
🥇 Aoife S — Year 10
Won the U16 race on Sunday.
🥇 Sam M — Year 9
Won the U14 race on Sunday.
👏 Charlie D — Year 8
Placed 8th in the U14 race, a brilliant result as a first-year U14 rider.
These results are a real credit to their skill, commitment and determination. The race series continues in June, before the Championship round in Scotland this July.
